The start of this year has not proved a cold as last year.
Chilly, yes, and reaching subzero in the wee hours most nights, but at the moment very little ice occupies the asphalt streets and concrete pathways around my neighborhood, just in those few and occasional patches that are so situated so that they never get any direct sunshine. Sometimes it’s not easy to do.
Let’s face it, most parts of the world are pretty crappy places, most of the time, and a lot of the people that you meet spent too much time in the day being assholes, shits, and bastards. Hell, I’m not much better myself. But, if only to provide a bit of balance to the previous post here, we need to observe that the world also has some nice stuff going on, too.
